For the time being we have a TINY Studio and Gallery Space in the Wedge Studios Building in the River Arts District near downtown Asheville, NC. We are in number 2B6 on the second floor in a tiny little space with a great view.

The 2024 Autumn Equinox Collection is almost here, it goes live on Sunday 9/22 at noon ET.  The colors and gems in this new jewelry are so evocative of the beauty of change…Carnelian, citrine, rutilated quartz, sapphire, smoky topaz, pyrite, lapis lazuli, tourmaline, chatoyant gray quartz, agate, spinel and more. I revel in the creative opportunities that these seasonal collections offer me. This time I looked into my "making past" (both far and near) and focused on design elements, techniques and motivations that have inspired me over time.

Holiday Open Studio

I hope you'll come visit for a chance to see my lovely little studio, jewelry (of course), yummy snacks and a drink (or two) if you are interested. 

It is so nice to wind down this busy time of year having folks visit this space I love so much. I look forward to seeing you (🤞🏽) and would be happy to answer questions.... so don't hesitate to ask!

The entrance to my studio is around the back of my house. There is a full glass bay door so you can't miss it. Feel free to park up on the street and walk down the driveway or pull down and park right in front of the studio. 

I have had so much fun creating this collection... it all started with a a stack of photographs taken on my adventures and then serendipitously finding an incredible stone that somehow incapsulated the entire color story in one gem. It is evocative of clear lake waters, fallen leaves, lichen, sunsets and the rich and warm colors of fall. 

It is such a gift to create work that feels so tethered to the joys in my life and to be reminded daily how much I love the changing of the seasons (especially this one). This new collection is full of limited edition and one-of-a-kind pieces, there are so many beautiful stones; Opal, Garnet, Citrine, Carnelian, Agate, Andesine, Chrysoprase and Sapphire.

Verdant Summer Greens

This is the perfect opportunity to snag a last minute present before I close down my shop for the holidays. 

Parking: 

Plenty of street parking is available directly in front of my house and across the street. Walk down the driveway (it is steep) to access my studio. 

For people with limited mobility, I invite you to pull down the driveway (I suggest you back in) and park in front of the small travel trailer. You will be just a few steps from the studio door.

I recently interviewed Mark Gardner for Working Knowledge. He is an amazing woodworker based in Saluda, NC and makes functional bowls and vases on a wood lathe, as well as mirrors, wall shelves and sculptures. In fact, if you’ve ever watched my live videos before, you’ve probably seen his work behind me!

*Side note/bummer disclaimer- The internet was not on my side the day that I interviewed Mark and much to my chagrin the interview was lost. This is truly sad on a multitude of levels only one of which is losing he kindness, insight and thoughtfulness with which Mark talked about being a creative professional.
